Weddings in Monterey is owned and operated by Brian and Heidi Borgia. We are a locally owned business with a combined experience of over 50 years working in the hospitality field here on the Monterey Peninsula. We have been married for over 26 years and have beautiful 22 year old twin daughters.
Our experience in the wedding business began with working in a sales and catering capacity in hotels including assisting with weddings and receptions. From there, we started a hotel reservations service and assisted wedding parties with finding the proper accommodations as well as wedding locations. We started Romantic Celebrations to help people celebrate their honeymoon, anniversary and wedding proposal. From that we branched out to actually helping people to set up their entire wedding from start to finish. From 2012-2025, we have won the Couple's Choice Award (top 5% of wedding companies nationwide).
